Shabaka Ring

King Shabaka was a Kushite pharaoh of the 25th Dynasty of Egypt. During the Golden Age of Nubian domination of Egypt, Shabaka was known to have restored Nile Valley culture and advanced the African Renaissance. He was known as ‘the one who has blessed two lands.’

The Shabaka ebony ring encrusted with an emerald and pink tourmaline is a symbol of King Shabaka’s blessing of Nubia and Egypt during his rule.
